How it started
After adopting our kitten Knuffel, I struggled to find a recommended cat harness here in South Africa. We knew he’d be an indoor cat (as advised by many vets and experts) and wanted to train him to walk on a leash for stimulating outings. Furthermore we enjoy travelling and wanted to be able to take Knuffel with us when possible. I also noticed the lack of variety of cat accessories compared to those offered for dogs. Looking online, SA cats were clearly behind times compared to the rest of the world. This planted the seed to create beautiful, comfortable and secure cat harnesses and accessories for South Africa’s kitty cats.
What we do
Our goal is to provide cat owners with beautiful cat harnesses and accessories without compromising the safety and comfort of their cats. We want South Africa’s cats and cat owners to enjoy the same products offered internationally. South Africans have such a wide variety for dogs, but unfortunately limited options for our feline friends. We hope to do our part in providing local, high quality alternatives.
Why choose us
Your cat’s comfort and safety is our first priority. Our harnesses and accessories are made from 100% cotton, making it light and breathable during the South African summers. We specifically choose to not use real leather leashes for animal cruelty reasons, but the best pleather on the market instead. We only use South African produced fabrics and each item is hand made by South Africans. We try our best to make our packaging environmentally friendly. All designs are tried and tested by our own beloved furbaby, Knuffel. If Knuffel is comfy, the product gets the paw of approval.
